How do we sell in a world full of AI?

Sell like the machines can’t.

I’m Lee. I run a financial services sales team at Salesforce, and most nights I’m building with the same AI my customers keep asking me about. Both halves matter. Here’s why.

Mission

The engineer builds the model. The marketer feeds it. The analyst reads it. The seller sits across from a person and decides what it means.

Why

AI made everyone’s pitch sound the same. That’s the opening.

Every rep I compete with has the same models and the same tooling now. The decks look alike. The emails read alike. A CFO can tell in about a minute. So the pitch isn’t the job anymore. The job is knowing the one thing that person needs to believe, saying it plainly, and being right about it.

I learned that from leading people, not reading about it. Consulting teams at Accenture and KPMG. A presales org I built from zero to thirty-plus across three regions. A sales team carrying $120M today. Hundreds of people over the years, and the good ones all had the same habit: they told the customer the truth before the customer asked.

So I do both. I lead the sellers and I build the software, because you can’t coach people through a shift you haven’t touched yourself.

Lead the people.Build the tools.Tell the truth first.

Proof

Builds

Member experience for private clubs

Ropeline

The best clubs remember your usual group, your table, and how you like to be reached. Most club software is twenty years old and remembers none of it. Ropeline sits on top. Members text the club the way they’d text a friend, and the Steward, our concierge, comes back with a real answer. I’m building it with one club and real members before anyone else sees it.

Heyna

“Heyna” is how we say “isn’t that right?” where I grew up. Most of the owners I know back home, the HVAC guys, the plumbers, the restaurant down the street, still answer their own phones at nine at night. Heyna sets them up with plain-language AI that gives them hours back. No jargon, nothing new to learn. Launching soon.

Valerie

I built Valerie to answer a question I kept hitting at work: what should an AI customer review actually show? It scores every account on readiness, adoption, and value, and it only counts value you can prove. The customers and numbers in it are made up.
